Horst, who was also named the NESCAC Player of the Week, totaled 10 points in two games while reaching two milestones in the process. In a 14-9 win over Connecticut College to wrap up the 2019 regular season, she scored six goals and recorded an assist to finish with seven points. Additionally, she became the 18th player in program history to reach the 100-career point mark.
A couple of days later, in the NESCAC Quarterfinals, she helped secure Wesleyan a trip to its first-ever conference semifinals with a 14-12 win over Colby. The senior scored three goals, including her 100th career marker, to make her the fourth player in Wesleyan women's lacrosse history to reach that milestone.
For the week, Horst totaled 10 points on nine goals and one assist, while also recording nine draw controls, four caused turnovers, and four ground balls. She'll look to guide the Cardinals to their first NESCAC Championship game ever when they take on No. 5 Tufts in the semifinals on Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m.
