PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Sophomore Aditi Prasad of the Wesleyan women's squash team competed in the Holleran Cup (B Division South) at the 2019 College Individual Championships today in the Nicol Squash Club at Moses Brown School. Prasad lost both of her matches as her impressive sophomore season has come to an end.
The Norcross, Ga. native earned the No. 6 seed in the Holleran South Cup and was paired up against fifth-seeded Brooke Herring of Drexel in the Round of 16. Herring won 3-0 by scores of 11-5, 11-3, 11-5.
With the loss, Prasad fell into the Consolation Bracket and faced seventh-seeded Nikita Joshi of Yale in the quarterfinals. Joshi won in three sets by marks of 11-8, 11-6, 11-1.
Prasad's 2018-19 season comes to an end after earning All-NESCAC First Team honors following a stellar sophomore season playing in the No. 1 position for the Cardinals.
