TEMPE, Ariz. – Adding to her growing list of postseason accolades, sophomore Eudice Chong of the Wesleyan University women's tennis team was named to the 2016 ITA Collegiate All-Star Team Tuesday, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The ITA Collegiate All-Star Team honors the top student-athletes of the 2015-16 season from all five divisions of college tennis. The student-athletes will be recognized, along with the National Players of the Year and the ITA/Arthur Ashe Jr. National Leadership and Sportsmanship Award winners, at the 2016 Oracle/ITA Arthur Ashe/All-Star Weekend August 25-27 in New York, N.Y.

Chong – the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Division III singles champion – was named one of six members to the Division III All-Star Team. She joined Skyler Butts of Claremont-Mudd Scripps, Sam Geier and Tristan Kaye of Kenyon, and Juli Raventos and Linda Shin of NESCAC archrival Williams. It's her second consecutive selection on the team.

The sophomore sensation finished the season 30-2 overall, and defended her singles title by defeating Raventos in the final 6-2, 7-5. In addition to her most recent accolade, Chong also earned ITA All-America honors and First Team All-NESCAC laurels for the second straight year.
