MIDDLETOWN, Conn.— Wesleyan's No. 4 women's tennis team earned their eleventh win of the season on a sunny Wednesday afternoon, taking care of business against Trinity with a 9-0 victory. The Cardinals were dominant from start to finish, getting out to a big start with a doubles sweep and showing no signs of a let up during the singles, taking all six matches in straight sets. With the win, the women move to 6-1 in NESCAC play on the season as they head into the final weekend of the regular season.
Yeung was relentless at #1, not dropping a single game in a 6-0, 6-0 win.
At #2, #3, and #4, the Cards comfortably took care of business, with Kristina Yu, Almy, and Nakamoto all winning in straight sets, dropping only two games each.
Finishing things off was Alvarez at #5 and Zoe Klass-Warch at #6, both of whom sailed to straight set wins. Alvarez won 6-2, 6-1 while Klass-Warch was victorious by a 6-1, 6-0 score.
