MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Venia Yeung, Kristina Yu and Victoria Yu of the No. 1 Wesleyan women's tennis team earned All-American honors as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Thursday evening.

First-year Yeung adds All-American to her list of accolades following her stellar rookie campaign. She earned a runner-up finish in the 2019 NCAA Division III Singles Championship, while recording a 13-3 overall singles record this spring. Yeung helped guide her team to its first-ever National Championship title, and earned All-NESCAC First team honors.
The Yu sisters earned All-American honors in their lone-collegiate year playing doubles together. In the fall, the duo was crowned the ITA New England Doubles Champions, before they advanced to the 2019 NCAA Division III Doubles Quarterfinals this spring. The Yu sisters, playing at #1 doubles, helped Wesleyan win its first-ever National Championship title. The tandem finished with an impressive 35-9 overall record, while also being named to the All-NESCAC First Team.
Senior Yu also earned All-American honors in singles after wrapping up a phenomenal career at Wesleyan. An eight-time All-American, she made it to the NCAA Division III Singles Quarterfinals for the third-straight year, while concluding her career with the second-most singles wins in Wesleyan history with 80.
