The Wesleyan Cardinals track athletes used this competition and the experience as an indicator of their readiness for this season.
Each year many of the top programs in New England ( mostly NCAA Div.I ) use the "Yale Invitational" meet as their opening meet of the indoor season. This provides strong competition early in the season for athletes and teams alike. There were strong performances, and the enthusiasm and confidence shown by all team members will serve to be a foundation for a strong indoor track season.
