HADLEY, Mass. - For the second consecutive week, senior Nicole Hilton of the 24th-ranked Wesleyan volleyball team has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week for her stellar performance in wins over Trinity (3-0) and No. 14 Juniata (3-2). The weekly award is the third-straight honor for the Cardinals as Phia Bellizzi was named the co-player of the week on October 7th.

She recorded 13 kills with a .524 attack clip against the Bantams and followed that up with 17 kills, a .441 hitting percentage, six digs, and three blocks to knock off the Eagles in a thrilling rematch of last year's NCAA Elite Eight contest.
The Player of the Week award is Hilton's second this season and second in as many weeks. She currently leads the NESCAC in points per set (4.1) and ranks third in blocks per set (0.94), fourth in kills per set (3.23), and fifth in hitting percentage (.368).
Hilton and the Cardinals boast a 17-2 record and are riding a nine-match win streak. They return to action on Friday, Oct. 25 and will host Williams at 8 p.m.
