Cam Barry enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Wesleyan baseball program in 2027.
Barry is a travel baseball coach and hitting instructor for MVP New England based out of East Hartford, Connecticut and has served in this role since the summer of 2024. Barry develops training plans focused on strength, mechanics, and performance improvement for high school aged athletes while providing one-on-one instruction and helping mentor athletes pursuing collegiate opportunities involving sports.
During the spring 2026, Barry spent the season with Cheshire High School as a varsity baseball assistant coach. He also was an assistant with the Massachusetts-based Dirt Dawgs travel baseball program in 2024-25.
Cam spent his undergraduate years at Eastern Nazarene (2020-23) and Curry (2023-25), graduating with a bachelor of science degree in sports & recreation management from Curry College.
Barry posted a career batting average of .328 at Curry and led the team in hits and runs in the 2024 season. Following a season-ending injury in 2025, Barry began coaching first base for Curry and working with the hitters in his final collegiate season.
A native of Manchester, Connecticut, Barry graduated from Manchester High School where he was team captain and an All-Conference selection.
