Jackson Vaughan enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Wesleyan tennis programs in 2026-27.
Vaughan comes to Middletown after most-recently serving as assistant men's and women's coach for Lee University out of the NCAA Division II ranks in the 2025-26 season. He helped coach the Flames and Lady Flames to their second NCAA Regional appearances in team history which the men's program was ranked as high as No. 3 nationally in that campaign.
Prior to Lee University, Vaughan was a tennis coach at the Providence Tennis Academy where he trained and coaches junior tennis players, mentoring them on their path towards collegiate tennis.
Vaughan played tennis collegiately in his undergraduate years for Cumberland University and a post-graduate season for Lee University in 2024-25. He was recognized as an ITA Scholar Athlete on multiple occassions.
Vaughan is a graduate of Cumberland, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2024 and a Master's in Business Administration in 2026 from Lee University.
