Michelle Kleynerman joined the Wesleyan men's and women's tennis coaching staffs as an assistant coach in the summer of 2026.
A two-time Patriot League Champion playing for Boston University, Kleynerman spent her undergraduate career playing for the Terriers (2021-25) before spending a graduate year playing for the University of Missouri.
Kleynerman helped lead Boston Univ. to Patriot League Championships in 2023 and 2025 while the Terriers were the Patriot League Runner-Up in 2022 and 2024. She was a First Team All-Patriot League performer in her sophomore year (2022-23) with Boston Univ., going 21-8 in singles and 20-11 in doubles play. She also made Patriot League Academic Honor Roll twice and was a Boston University Dean's List recipient.
A five-star recruit coming out of the junior level, Kleynerman was ranked Top 40 nationally in the high school Class of 2021. She is a multiple USTA National Level 3 Champion, USTA National Level 2 Champion, and USTA National Level 1 Indoor Championship Quarterfinalist.
Kleynerman coached at the Genesis Health Clubs, training junior players with an emphasis on technical, mental, and match play development. She also provided private lessons to competitive junior players and is a former instructor at the Saw Mill Club for a U10 development program.
Kleynerman graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from Boston University in 2025 and is on the pre-med track. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of Missouri.
