Wes Community Programs

The faculty, coaches, and staff of the Athletics Department at Wesleyan share a common bond with their fellow university community members. Wesleyan is an extraordinary place where every individual is supported in their pursuit of personal excellence, in mind, body, and spirit.


To promote personal health awareness and promote a lifestyle that supports one's personal and professional goals, the Adult Fitness program offers a comprehensive array of services. Our goal is to encourage individuals to take responsibility for their well-being. Part of that commitment includes providing the knowledge, tools, and supports necessary to reinforce healthy choices and behaviors. We are confident that by adopting a positive lifestyle, you can diminish the incidence, duration and severity of common preventable illnesses. This program is offered to Wesleyan faculty, staff, their spouses/domestic partners, graduate students their spouses/domestic partners, and Wesleyan retirees.

Classes meet weekdays at 12 noon and include Zumba, water aerobics, Pilates, yoga, strength training, and walking/jogging. Also, look here on the adult fitness website blog for ideas on healthy living. Learn more about the Adult Fitness program.


All Physical Education courses earn .25 credits. Classes include:
