Women's Soccer Ends Season on a High Note with 2-1 (2OT) Win over Conn. College

Freshman forward Liz Young's last second double-overtime goal lead the Wesleyan Women's Soccer team to a 2-1 victory over the hosting Connecticut College Camels Friday Oct. 30 in New London, CT.  The Cardinals close out the season in 9th place with a  6-7-2 and 3-5-2 in the NESCAC, while The Camels finish in 10th  with a record of 3-8-3 and a 0-7-3 record in conference action.

Young's goal was set up by a junior Victoria Matthews tap pass. Young received the pass and chipped it inside the far post. It was her team-leading sixth goal of the season.
