Wesleyan Plays to 1-1 Tie Against Connecticut College

The Wesleyan University Men's Ice Hockey team opened their season with a 1-1 tie against Connecticut College.

Both teams played excellent defense with Cardinals starting goaltender Dawson Sprigings making 17 saves and Connecticut College's keeper,Tom Conlin making 41 saves.

The Camels got out to a 1-0 start with a goal by Joe Giordano in the first period. Wesleyan would answer with a goal of their own in the second, scored by Jay Matthews.

Wesleyan plays again Saturday November 21 against Tufts.
