The Lead: In its first match of the 2016-17 season, the No. 19 Wesleyan University men's squash team cruised to an 8-1 win over No. 28 Hamilton College Saturday afternoon.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Cardinals won in the top seven spots of the lineup, as well as the No. 9 position.
- Chris Hart '17 defeated Colin O'Dowd in the No. 1 position, 3-0 by scores of 11-5, 11-6, 12-10, and David Sneed '17 swept the No. 2 spot against Tucker Hamlin, 11-9, 11-6, 11-5.
- In the No. 3 position, Zach Roach '17 claimed a thrilling 3-2 win over Callum Sondhi by scores of 11-5, 11-13, 11-13, 11-3, 11-8.
- Alex Kamisher '17, Grant Lounsbury '17 and Yahya Ladiwala '19 swept the No. 4, 5 and 6 spots, respectively.
- In their first collegiate matches of their career, William Bienstock '20 defeated Mark Sperry from the No. 7 position by scores of 11-4, 11-6, 4-11, 11-8, and Alex Dreyfus '20 won 3-2 over Torrey Foster in the No. 9 spot, 5-11, 4-11, 11-4, 11-4, 11-9.

- The Cardinals are back in action Friday, Dec. 2 and will host a three-day Round Robin Tournament.
