HARTFORD, Conn. – The No. 8 Wesleyan University women's tennis team cruised to its fourth consecutive win Wednesday night as it defeated NESCAC foe Trinity College, 8-1 at the Assaiante Tennis Center.

DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS
- The Cardinals swept doubles action by claiming all three matches by scores of 8-1.
- Eudice Chong '18 and Aashli Budhiraja '18 won No. 1 doubles, Victoria Yu '19 and Helen Klass-Warch '18 claimed No. 2 doubles, and Nicole McCann '18 and Maddie James '16 took No. 3 doubles.
SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS
- Wesleyan won No. 1 through No. 5 singles by a total of 35-1 in the first set, and 35-1 in the second set.
- Chong, Yu and McCann won No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles by a clean sweep, respectively. Yu defeated Vanja Babunski, Yu defeated Zoe Lindbloom and McCann beat Emily Curtis.
- Klass-Warch claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win over Ania Aliev in No. 3 singles, and Budhiraja won 6-0, 6-1 over Sara Curtis in the No. 5 spot.
UP NEXT
- Wesleyan returns to action tomorrow, April 28 and will play at Connecticut College beginning at 3:30 p.m. before wrapping up its 2015-16 regular season Saturday at Brandeis (2 p.m.).
- The Bantams close out their season Saturday as well and will host Skidmore beginning at 1 p.m.
