CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
The Cardinals are 12-5 overall and 7-3 in the conference, and are coming off seven consecutive wins including six in league play. They will face the Jumbos, for the second time this season, Friday at 2 p.m. The winner of that match will advance to the second round Saturday, May 7 to play top-seeded Middlebury at 2 p.m.

Tufts is ranked No. 13 in the country and boasts a 13-6 overall record and 6-3 NESCAC mark. The Jumbos, however, are just 2-2 in their last four matches and fell to Wesleyan earlier this season, 8-1 on April 9 in Middletown, Conn.

After two years removed from the conference tournament, Wesleyan returns for its second NESCAC Championship appearance in program history, while the Jumbos return for the fourth time since the league went to a tournament format in 2006. Friday will mark the first conference postseason matchup between Wesleyan and Tufts, as both teams look to capture their first win in tournament play.
