The Lead: The 23rd-ranked Wesleyan University men's squash team was narrowly defeated by NESCAC foe and 28th-ranked Bowdoin College Wednesday afternoon, 5-4.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- At the top of the lineup, seniors Chris Hart and David Sneed earned wins from the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively, while Josh Lane '19 claimed the No. 8 spot and Alex Dreyfus '20 took the No. 9 court.
- Hart and Sneed both swept their opponents. Hart defeated Satya Butler by scores of 11-8, 11-8 and 13-11, and Sneed claimed wins of 11-7, 11-6 and 11-8 over James Paolella.
- In the No. 8 position, Lane earned a 3-1 win over Christian Dorff by scores of 11-7, 8-11, 11-9 and 11-7.
- Dreyfus cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Andrew Phillips by marks of 11-2, 11-4, 11-6.
