HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In what was a fast-paced first period, the Cardinals held the edge in shots at 13-12, but both goaltenders set the tone for the game, turning away each shot they saw.
- The Cardinals would have two power play opportunities in the second period, but were unable to convert.
- Each team registered seven shots in the second period.
- The Continentals controlled the majority of the third period, outshooting Wesleyan 17-6.
- The two teams would head to over time tied at 0-0 and after five minutes of play, the game would end in a 0-0 tie.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Allegra Grant '20 was stellar in net for Wesleyan as she made 40 saves on the day.
