The Lead: The sixth-ranked Wesleyan University women's tennis team cruised to a commanding 9-0 sweep over Connecticut College in its final regular-season home match Thursday evening.
DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS:
- Eudice Chong '18 and Victoria Yu '19, ranked No. 4 in the country, swept Emily Migliorini and Stephanie Simon in No. 1 doubles (8-0).
- Helen Klass-Warch '18 and Nicole McCann '18 took No. 2 doubles, 8-5, and Dasha Dubinsky '18 and Ella Lindholm-Uzzi '17 claimed the No. 3 spot, 8-6.
SINGLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Wesleyan handled the Camels in singles play.
- Chong and Yu both won by scores of 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively.
- In No. 3 singles, Klass-Warch swept both sets, while her doubles partner McCann, took the No. 4 spot by scores of 6-1, 6-2.
- At the bottom of the lineup, Dubinsky won decisively in the No. 5 position (6-0, 6-1), and Julia Kim '20 earned a victory in No. 6 singles (6-3, 6-1).

UP NEXT:
- The Cardinals return to the courts Saturday, April 22 and will play at No. 12 Amherst. The match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
