CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The No. 20 Wesleyan University women's squash team kicked its season off with an away match-up against No. 19 Tufts. Despite the close difference in rankings, the Cardinals struggled to upset the more experienced NESCAC rival as they dropped the match, 9-0. Wesleyan is now 0-1 following its season-opening loss while the Jumbos grabbed their first win.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:
- Sophomore Aditi Prasad entered her first match at the No. 1 by facing the Jumbos captain Claire Davidson, but she was edged out after a hard-fought battle by scores of 5-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 10-12.
- The unlucky defeat foreshadows the day for the Cardinals, where the Jumbos swept the No. 2-9 spots all by 3-0 decisions.

- After the Thanksgiving break, the Cardinals will return on the weekend of Dec. 1-2, where they will welcome in Hobart, Franklin & Marshall, Dickinson, as well as NESCAC rival Bard at the Wesleyan Round Robin.
