PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Wesleyan University men's crew took two of three races at the Little Three Championships against Amherst and Williams on Lake Ononta Saturday, but the Ephs took the title by claiming the Varsity 8 race by three seconds.

REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Cardinals' Varsity 8 boat clocked a time of 6:19.29, just three seconds shy of Williams' boat (6:16.19). Amherst placed third in 6:48.62.
• In the second Varsity 8 race, Wesleyan finished on top with a time of 6:29.59, while the Ephs took second in 6:32.59.
• The Cardinals also won the third Varsity 8 race with a time of 6:51.15, ahead of both Williams and Amherst.

• Next Sunday, April 29th, Wesleyan will race Trinity and Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
