No. 21 Wesleyan Blanks No. 29 Haverford

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The No. 21 Wesleyan women's squash team blanked No. 29 Haverford on the road on Friday evening. With the 9-0 victory, the Cardinals improve to 7-4, while the hosts fall to 3-3. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Aditi Prasad picked up a 3-0 victory (11-2, 11-3, 11-7) in the top-spot.
  • Ananya Vir won a tight first game 13-11, before cruising 11-3 and 11-6 to win in the second slot.
  • In the third flight, Valeria Osorio held her opponent to just 10 points, winning by scores of 11-2, 11-3 and 11-5.
  • The middle of the lineup performed well as Josie Russ won by scores of 11-6, 11-9 and 11-3 in the fourth flight.
  • Natasha Feenstra was victorious in the fifth spot (11-6, 11-3, 11-3), while Nina Premutico held her opponent to a team-low of eight points (11-2, 11-3, 11-) in the sixth flight.
  • The bottom of the ladder also cruised as #7 Annie Roach (6, 8, 5), Emma Smith (4, 6, 9) and Sydney Kim (3, 5, 5) swept their opponents.

  • Wesleyan is back in action on Friday, January 24th when it heads to No. 23 Connecticut College.
