AMHERST, Mass & SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. –  In a busy travel day with two matches on two different campuses, the Wesleyan men's squash team posted a 7-2 win over Haverford to start the day before dropping an 8-1 decision to No. 13 Chatham in the evening. Wesleyan (2-4) was competing for the first time since December 8 and will face next Bates in a match that will be played at Tufts next Saturday before hosting Bowdoin on Sunday.

• The Cardinals saw wins in the #3-9 positions to post the 7-2 victory and move to 11-1 all-time against Haverford.
• Abhinav Gupta '25 was locked in a battle with Noah Tunis at #3 as the two traded sets before heading into a tiebreak which Gupta came out on top with a 11-8 win.
• The remaining matches were all largely dominated by the Cardinals as John Sutherby '23 won 15-13, 11-5, 11-5 over Benjamin Schiltz at #4.
• Ethan Yan '25 took down Minor Reedich at #5 (11-7, 11-7, 11-3), Preston Crawford '25 moved to 2-0 on the season with a 11-5, 11-8, 11-5 win at #6 over John Collins and Jack Lungstrum '25 and Cole Zetterquist '24 each won easily with 3-0 decisions at #8 and #9, respectively
• Andrew Doucette '22 dropped the third set in his match at #7 with Alden Weinberg but recovered with an 11-9 fourth set win to earn a win

• In just the third all-time meeting between the two teams, Chatham dominate the match with the Cardinals taking one point by default
• Seven of the eight contested matches were 3-0 victories in favor of Chatham
• Lungstrum won the only set for the Cardinals as he won 11-8 in the opening set at #8 against Vinicius Muniz
