Logan Tomlinson was named the NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, October 17. Tomlinson was a big play generator all night, going off for explosive plays down the field all throughout Saturday night's 26-22 win over Tufts from Corwin Stadium at Andrus Field.
Tomlinson racked up 171 receiving yards on nine catches with one touchdown in the victory. The 171 yards are a season-high for Tomlinson as well as the second-highest single-game total of his career. His career-high of 219 yards also came against Tufts in a 36-35 road win last season. In two career games against the Jumbos, Tomlinson has tallied 20 catches for 290 yards and 2 TD.
In Saturday's win, Tomlinson recorded four catches of 30+ yards against Tufts as the Cardinals came away with a thrilling win to move to 4-1 on the season, winning three straight and putting themselves right in the mix towards the top of the NESCAC standings.
