th place in consolation play.
Hamilton 6, Wesleyan 3 | Results
- The Continentals jumped out to a 4-0 advantage in team scoring behind four 3-0 sweeps at the #1, #2, #7 and #8 spots in the lineup
- John Sutherby '23 responded with a 3-0 sweep of his own at #3, defeating Ashby Howard 11-7, 11-4, 13-11
- Preston Crawford '24 added another point for Wesleyan at #6 with a 11-9, 11-9, 11-6 triumph over William Rice
- Clinching points from Hamilton for the match victory came at #5 with another win at #9 to follow
- Ethan Yan '25 finished strong, earning a 3-1 (9-11, 11-7, 11-9, 11-9) win at #4, edging out Rufus Somerby to give the Cardinals a third point in the team scoring
Wesleyan 9, Fordham 0 | Results
- Behind seven 3-0 sweeps, the Cardinals trounced Fordham in the afternoon session
- Sutherby and Crawford each posted their second 3-0 win of the day, Sutherby defeating Justin George 11-7, 11-2, 11-5 at #3 while Crawford took down Sofia Arseniev 11-3, 11-5, 11-2 at #6
- Yan dominated in his match, dropping just five total points in a 3-0 sweep (11-3, 11-2, 11-0) as the first-year also moved to 2-0 on the day and 8-5 on the season (team-leader in win and win percentage)
- Jack Lungstrum '25 (#5), Mikail Haroon '24 (#7), Morgan Shatzman '25 (#8) and Andrew Doucette '22 (#9) were the remaining four Cardinals who earned 3-0 wins over the Rams
- It was a battle at the top of the lineup card as Shanay Sanghavi '23 defeated Patrick Rodden for his first win of the season at #1 with a set score line of 11-8, 11-8, 8-11, 11-5
- Abhinav Gupta '25 made it a clean 9-0 win for Wesleyan with a 3-1 victory at #2 over Henry Frawley (11-7, 11-6, 10-12, 11-5)
