th to fall to Amherst in Friday afternoon's NESCAC showdown. The Cardinals found themselves enjoying a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the 5

- Wesleyan pushed across their only runs of the game in the 5th. Courtney Collins-Pisano '22 delivered a double over the center fielder's head to drive in Bella Tassone '24 who had pinch ran for Kendall Mancuso '22 who singled to lead off the inning. Two batters later Sophia Sciarappa '22 came up and came through with a RBI-double down the left field line to extend the lead to two
- Secaira-Cotto pitched another perfect inning in the 5th. She followed that up by giving up her only hit to that point in the 6th, but held the Mammoths without a run going into the final innings.
