CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's squash team suffered a 9-0 defeat to No. 16 ranked MIT on Tuesday night from the Zesiger Center. The Cardinals fall to 4-6 on the season while the Engineers (8-9) snap a three-match losing streak.
Dhairya Shah '27 was the lone Cardinal to take a set off an Engineer in the proceedings as the first-year won the second set 13-11 but fell to Robert Albani at #5 (6-11, 13-11, 4-11, 3-11).
Nimai Kini '26 won the most points of any Wesleyan player other than Shah as he fell at #1 to Mero Elmarassy (11-4, 11-9, 12-10).
Sumer Singh Ahluwalia '27 competed in the #10 spot, falling to JJ Detweiler 12-10, 7-11, 8-11, 3-11.
The Cardinals are back in action at Hamilton on Friday in a neutral site match against Hobart at 3 PM.
