MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men's squash team fell to No. 10 Williams, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon from the Rosenbaum Squash Center. Wesleyan (7-8) celebrates its five-member senior class prior to the start of play.
Competing in his final match at home,
Abhinav Gupta '25 gave Andrew Minnis a battle at #1, as the two split the opening two games before Minnis closed out a 3-1 win with 11-6, 11-8 wins in the third and fourth games.
The closest match of the afternoon came at #8 with
Sumer Singh Ahluwalia '27 locked in back-and-forth match against Leonard Lee that lasted 44 minutes. Ahluwalia took the first game 11-9 before losing a tight second game 11-9. Lee moved one game closer to a win with a 11-6 triumph in the third game before an epic fourth game that went into extra points before Lee secured a match-clinching 14-12 win.

The Cardinals close out the season next weekend in Philadelphia with the CSA Team Championships from February 28 through March 2. Wesleyan is coming off a run to the Conroy Cup (D Division) title at the CSA Team Championships last season.
