MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan University spring season varsity teams put a total of 172 student-athletes on the 2025 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. Tufts ranks first in the conference with 247 student-athletes on the All-Academic list, while Williams is second with 200. Wesleyan's 172 selections is tied with Middlebury for fourth-most in the conference.
In order to earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or equivalent on a 4.0 scale. Transfer students are eligible as long as they have completed at least one year of study at the institution.
The Cardinals were led by the men's lacrosse program who had 35 honorees followed by men's outdoor track & field (23), men's crew (20), women's lacrosse (19), baseball (18), women's crew (17), women's outdoor track & field (15), softball (6), men's tennis (6), women's tennis (5), women's golf (4), and men's golf (4) - who made up the 172 total honorees.
