MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women's swimming & diving team played host to Colby on Saturday afternoon in a dual meet in the Webster Family Natatorium. The Cardinals fell by a score of 207.5-84.5 against the Mules.
A pair of first place finishes came late in the meet, starting with the 200 IM where
Summer DeWitt '29 touched the wall in 2:17.78. Wesleyan followed that up with a win in the 200 free relay as the team of
Zoe Kuhn '26,
Anne Conway '26,
Mia Dezelic '27, and
James LaCroix '27 combined to finish in 1:39.64.
Other top point producers on the day included
Ella Hall '28 who was runner-up in both the 1-meter (238.20) and 3-meter (217.28) diving competitions. Dezelic placed second in the 100 back (59.66 seconds) and third in the 200 back (2:10.72).
Sara Bohacek '26 finished as the runner-up in the 100 breast (1:08.81) and placed third in the 200 breast (2:32.28).
LaCroix added a third place finish in the 100 free (54.37) while Conway was third-best in the 100 fly (59.12).
The Cardinals host their final meet of the season next Saturday against Conn. College at 1 PM.
