HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Sweeping the final match of Spring Break action, the Wesleyan men's tennis team flipped a 7-0 victory over No. 28 North Carolina Wesleyan University on Wednesday afternoon.
Leading off the Cardinals slotted at No. 1,
Harry Collomb 26 defeated Ben Russell in a 6-3, 6-4 final as the pair met for a second time following doubles play. At No. 2,
Ryuto Saito '29 clinched a 7-5, 6-1 win over Adam Singleton.
Chase Kasday '26 ran three sets with Albert Sitwell as the No. 3, falling in set one before winning two in a row to flip the match 2-6, 6-2, 6-1.
Chase Burke '29 finished his match over Farhaan Patrawala with a 6-3, 6-2 tally as the No. 4.
Brett Keeling '27 campaigned for a 7-5, 6-1 match win over Martin Cardestig at No. 5, defeating Cardestig 7-5, 6-1. The final point went to
Tommy Jani '29 following a third set tiebreaker. Jani's victory over Largo Koch finished with a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-3) final score.
Collomb and Burke defeated Singleton and Russell as the No. 1 doubles pairing, 7-5. Kasday and Saito did not drop a single point against Sitwell and Brody Brice with a 6-0 win at No. 2. At No. 3, Keeling and
Max Litton '26 cleared a 7-5 win over Koch and Julian Valverde.'
