MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Sophomore linebacker Yogi Culver '29 of the Wesleyan football team earned NESCAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is Culver's first career Player of the Week nod. 

Culver recovered a fumble on a muffed punt from Tufts on the opening drive of the game, setting the Cardinals up with a 1st-and-10 deep in the Jumbos territory, which led to Wesleyan's first touchdown in a dominant 42-7 home win over the Jumbos. Culver added three tackles, all on kickoff or punt returns, to complete his day.

Wesleyan (2-0) looks to remain unbeaten with a trip to Hamilton on Saturday.
