Before Wesleyan: Ortiz played for the Winchendon School, Winchendon, Massachusetts ... as a senior (2019-2020) lead the team to a NEPSAC Conference Championship ... daughter of Yolanda Diaz and Ricardo Ortiz ... she has two siblings, Natalia and Ricardo, Natalia played as a libero at Trinity College (2018-2022) and Ricardo is currently playing as a libero at Springfield College (2023-2027).
