Scott Bushey - Athletic Operations and Fitness Coordinator
Scott received his Bachelor of Science in sport management and Master of Science in athletic administration from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Prior to this position, he served as the assistant cross country coach here at Wesleyan. In addition to overseeing the adult fitness program, Scott will assist in the operation of Wesleyan's athletic department. Scott brings to this position a wealth of program planning and implementation experience and his deep passion for fitness.

Casey Slaughter - Zumba, Barre, Kickboxing
Casey Slaughter is an ACE certified group fitness instructor who has been teaching for 14 years. She teaches Zumba, Barre, HIIT, and Kickboxing and loves using her passion for fitness to bring joy to her students. Her goal is to have every student leave her class both sweating and smiling.

David Ritchie - Martial Arts
David Ritchie began training in the martial arts in 1969 while attending UConn where he earned his BS in Education/Physical Education and MA in Therapeutic Recreational Services. He was invited by his 1
st Tai Chi teacher to continue his Tai Chi learning in Master Huang Xing Xian's Tai Chi School in Kota Kinabalu East Malaysia. David opened Central Connecticut Tai Chi Ch'uan/Meriden in 1989 and Taught Tai Chi and Chi Kung at Quinnipiac University in the PE and Respiratory Care Depts as well as numerous Corporate settings. The objective is to improve one's overall health and well being by achieving relaxation and stress relief. In practicing Tai Chi you can improve the mind and body connection as well as balance.
Rikki Alrutz - Aerobic-lates, Social Walk & Run Basics, Yoga, Yoga Fish, Mat Pilates
Rikki has a love of health and fitness. A former professional athlete, she has always made time to cross train in yoga, Pilates, water fitness, aerobics and weight training. She also enjoys running races. Certified in all of the above, she loves sharing her passion with her students. Rikki will meet you wherever you are on your fitness journey. She is a certified weight loss coach, has training in PT, is a certified SilverSneakers instructor with an extensive background in senior wellness and fitness; and she also loves working with kids. Rikki is a certified RSPA coach and enjoys incorporating different workouts into her sessions. When she isn't training herself or teaching, you will find her working at Middlesex Health or attending football, basketball, ANW and baseball events while watching her three sons compete.
Andrea Kelly - Line Dancing
Andrea Kelly is a Middletown native. She attended Howard University and Western Connecticut State University. Besides Connecticut, Andrea has lived in Chicago, IL., Washington, D.C., White Plains, MD, Los Angeles, CA, and multiple cities in Florida. She has traveled to 29 states, and 11 countries. Andrea has settled back in CT and is now the Senior Events Coordinator at the Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford, CT. Andrea has been dancing for years. She was on her university's dance team, where she served as president and one of two chief choreographers. After university, Andrea started coaching competition level cheerleading focusing on the dance aspect of routines. She eventually became certified through the NFL. After 21 years of coaching cheerleading, Andrea became the step team coach at Wilcox Tech in Meriden, CT. Line dancing was a natural next step. Andrea taught line dancing at the Bushnell as well as at a women's boot camp gym in Chicago, IL. She even led classes for colleagues when she was formerly employed at WES. She now teaches bi-weekly classes at her church and pop-up classes at various locations.
