Chris Wojick

Chris Wojick will enter his seventh season as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the Wesleyan Cardinals in 2018.

Wojick's pitching staffs have recorded three of the top four ERA marks in school history, including a record 2.70 in 2015. The Cardinals also led the nation in WHIP and were third in ERA in 2015.

A 2011 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State, Wojick brings a wealth of experience in baseball, including a standout four-year pitching career for the Warriors. He finished his career second in all-time appearances with 74, and was named ABCA All-New England Third Team in 2008. He had 13 career wins and eight saves in 135 innings, along with 136 strikeouts, and a career 4.13 ERA.

He served as the tournament director for the NCAA Division III New England Regional in 2012. In 2014, he coached the Mystic Schooners in the NECBL. Currently, he runs the New England Waves travel baseball program.

Chris graduated from Montville (Conn.) High School, and was named to the prestigious All-State team, while leading his squad to the state title in 2006. He was a pitcher and catcher for the University of Maine during his first year in college.

He is married to the former Melanie Proud.
