Tori Redding

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Tori Redding enters her fourth year on the Wesleyan staff as the Cardinals’ goaltending coach, after serving as a department intern from 2013-15. A 2013 Wesleyan graduate, Redding was a two-sport athlete for the Cardinals, serving as a team captain in both field hockey and softball. She played all but 35 minutes in net over her four seasons as a Cardinal field-hockey standout. With nearly 4,280 minutes of work, Redding, who was an NFHCA All-American in 2010 and a First Team All-NESCAC pick that year as well, posted a career 1.55 goals against average and a .812 save percentage.

During the summer of 2011, she made the US High Performance team as part of the USFH developmental program and was under consideration for the US Olympic squad. She was also a second-team All-New England West selection and a participant in the 2012 NFHCA Senior All-Star game. Her knowledge of the game is a valuable addition to the Cardinal staff.

In addition to her duties with field hockey, she is an assistant coach with the softball team during the spring and is pursuing her MALS degree at Wesleyan.
