Jacob Hallenbeck

Jacob Hallenbeck enters his first season at Wesleyan as the wide receivers coach in 2021. Prior to joining the Cardinals’ staff, Hallenbeck spent one season with Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina as an offensive quality control coach. He has also been a volunteer coach at several camps, including those run by Eric Mangini ’94 and Detroit Lions quarterback Tim Boyle.
 
Hallenbeck played quarterback for four seasons at Marist. In 2017, he played in all 11 games, making two starts. During the 2018 season, he appeared in seven games with four starts and completed 49 of 84 passes for 730 yards and seven touchdowns, while rushing for two scores. He missed his senior season in 2019 due to injury. A four-time member of the Pioneer League Academic Honor Roll, he graduated from Marist in May of 2020 with a degree in psychology.
 
A native of West Simsbury, Connecticut, Hallenbeck graduated from Kingswood-Oxford School where he led the team to a NEPSAC championship and was named First Team All-New England NEPSAC.
