Peter Ladas enters his second season as defensive backs coach at Wesleyan in 2024. Prior to joining the Cardinals, Ladas spent 11 years coaching high school football in Connecticut.
He coached as a defensive assistant at his alma-mater, Berlin High School, for four years where he was a part of two state championship runner-up teams in 2012 and 2014. He also spent seven total years as a high school defensive coordinator; three at Coginchaug Regional High School and most-recently four years at Glastonbury High School where he helped lead the program to its first state-semifinal appearance since 2012.
Outside of football, Ladas is a physical education and health teacher at Haddam-Killingworth High School and is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a B.S in physical education. He and his wife Ashley reside in Middletown.
