Ramon Ruiz begins his first season at Wesleyan and will serve as the tight ends coach. Additionally, Ruiz is a graduate student in Wesleyan’s Graduate Liberal Studies Program studying Social Sciences and Education & Human Development.

Prior to Wesleyan, Ramon graduated from Bates College in 2021 where he earned an undergraduate degree in Political Economy and Rhetoric. While at Bates, Ramon played four years as a defensive lineman. He played in all nine games his first year at Bates and shortly after became the starting nose tackle his sophomore season.

A native of Haskell, New Jersey, Ramon graduated from and played football for Don Bosco Preparatory High School.
