Biography

Connor Benedict is from Sutton Massachusetts and attended Sutton High School prior to his time at Wesleyan. In high school, he was a tri-sport athlete, playing football, baseball, and basketball while maintaining a 3.9 GPA all four years. In football, he was chosen by his peers to be Captain his senior year, leading his team to their second winning season in program history (4-1), winning the pod 6 conference championship. As a junior, he was a recipient of the Coaches Award, given to the teammate who the coach views as a team first player and shows excellent coachability and leadership. Additionally, he holds the program record for most receiving touchdowns, career receptions, and receiving yards.  In basketball, he was a one year starter and was a member of the 2020 state champion team. In baseball, he led the team in strikeouts his senior year and earned a T&G Division 4 All Star honorable mention. At Wesleyan, Connor is a government major and also has very strong interests in computer programming/coding and plans on pursuing a career in both fields in the future.
