MEDFORD, Mass. – The No. 7 Wesleyan women’s crew team competed against No. 1 Bates, No. 12 Tufts and No. 6 Wellesley on Saturday morning. The Varsity 8 and the second V8 advanced to the championship after triumphing over Wellesley in head-to-head with, but both boats fell in the championship to No. 1 Bates.
WORCESTER, Mass. – The women’s crew team competed in the McLaughlin Cup in Worcester, Massachusetts on Saturday morning, highlighted by a first-place finish for the second Varsity 8 boat.
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women’s crew team opened the spring season at home hosting Coast Guard. The Varsity 8 boat (Nicole Rizzuto [coxswain], Olivia Pearson, Ciara Basbbott-Ward, Allison Quintana, Rachelle Flowers, Lydia Paddock, Hannah Xu, Emma Porrazzo and Sarah Osborn) completed the 2,000m course in 7:02.0 to earn first-place, while the Bears were crossed the finish line in 7:33.6.
