Hailey Nyquist joined the Wesleyan men's and women's swimming & diving team coaching staff as an assistant coach in the 2025-26 season, bringing with her a strong background as a collegiate athlete and a passion for developing student-athletes. A 2025 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, Hailey competed at the NCAA level in both the butterfly and backstroke, gaining valuable experience racing and training at the national stage.
During her collegiate career, Hailey was known for her versatility, consistency, and leadership on deck. Her firsthand experience balancing high-level athletics with academics allows her to relate closely to student-athletes and support their growth both in and out of the pool.
Hailey is excited to be part of the continued momentum and growth of the Wesleyan Swim & Dive program. She is committed to creating a positive, challenging, and supportive training environment and looks forward to building strong relationships with the swimmers she coaches.
