Tim Lasusa was hired as interim head coach of both the men’s and women’s squash programs for the 2026-27 season.
Lasusa most-recently served as head coach of men’s and women’s squash at Connecticut College for two seasons (2024-26) while he also was head coach of the Georgetown women’s squash for three seasons (2021-24) and prior to that he was the assistant coach of both men’s and women’s squash teams at Yale.
With the Camels, Lasusa led the men’s program to a second-place finish in the Conroy Cup at the CSA National Championships in 2026 while he coached an All-NESCAC performer in Alex Moncada on the men’s team in 2024-25.
In three seasons with the Hoyas, Lasusa led the squad from its inaugural season in 2021-22 to being ranked as high as No. 13 nationally while Georgetown won the Kurtz Cup Championship at the CSA National Championships in 2024. He coached several All-Conference performers, along with the 2022 Wetzel Award winner for the most improved player in the CSA, as well as earning the CSA Team Sportsmanship Award.
Prior to his time in the nation’s capital, Lasusa spent four seasons as the assistant coach for both squash programs at Yale, contributing to the development and success of one of the nation’s highest-performing collegiate squash teams.
A native of New York City, Lasusa graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2016 and captained the men’s squash team to its highest-ever national ranking, leading the Saints to the No. 1 spot in the rankings and a trip to the 2016 CSA National Semifinals. After graduating from SLU, Lasusa played on both the PSA World Tour and SDA Pro Tour in both singles and doubles, reaching the US Singles National Championship Quarterfinals in 2017.
