SHELTON, Conn. - A two goal first period propelled the Wesleyan University women's ice hockey team to a 2-1 victory over Sacred Heart Tuesday night on the road, as junior Ellery Sarosi's first period score proved to be the game winner for the Cardinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- All three scores occurred in the first period.
- Wesleyan goaltender Laura Corcoran '16 made 31 saves in net.
