Cardinals Fall to Hamilton 3-0

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Cardinals fell to the visiting Hamilton Continentals 3-0 Friday Night at Spurrier-Snyder rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Hamilton scored a short-handed goal in the second period to give them a 1-0 lead. 
  • The Continentals scored two goals in the third period.
  • Wesleyan was outshot 25-22 in the game

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Hamilton got a short-handed goal by Hannah Bartlett with 12:29 gone by in the second period to give them a 1-0 lead. 
  • Jenna Jewell scored with 2:25 left in the third period to give the Continentals a 2-0 lead
  • Megan Ahren scored an empty-net goal off an Taegan Blackwell pass to seal the victory for Hamilton.
