MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Cardinals suffered their second defeat in as many days to the Hamilton Continentals 4-1 on a snowy Saturday afternoon at Spurrier-Snyder Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Special teams played a big part for both teams as each was able to convert on their power play.
- Olivia Hawes scored two goals for Hamilton while Megan Ahern registered two assists.
- Hamilton scored four unanswered goals after going down 1-0
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Jess Brennan's power play goal at 11:42 gave the Cardinals a 1-0 lead. Her goal was assisted by Cici Frattasio '18 and Madzie Carroll '17.
- Hamilton responded with a power play goal of their own by Hawes at 13:07. The goal was assisted by Ahern and Taffe.
- Hawes scored again at 19:21 in the second. That goal was again assisted by Ahern and Maddie Carras.
- Hamilton got another goal at 9:10 in the third by Hannah Bartlett and an empty net goal by Sara Taffe.
- Wesleyan goaltender Laura Corcoran '16, starting her second game in as many days made 26 saves
