LOWELL, Mass. – Wesleyan University men's crew competed at the Textile River Regatta in Lowell, Massachusetts Sunday in its 2017 opener, and produced a second-place finish in the men's club 8 as well as another second-place finish in the collegiate novice 8.
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
- Wesleyan finished second in the men's collegiate novice 8, rowing to an adjusted time of 21:12.478 at the finish behind only WPI.
- In the men's club 8, the Cardinals had a strong showing with three boats. The top finishing boat clocked a 19:37.37 for second overall, while Wesleyan boats finished fourth (20:20.95) and sixth (20:37.29) as well.
- Wesleyan claimed fourth in the Jim Polcari open 8, registering a time of 19:55.86.

- The Cardinals have a few weeks off of competition before preparing for the Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Mass., from Oct. 21-22.
