MIDDLETOWN, CT – The Wesleyan field hockey team closes out the 2021 season on a high note, taking down Connecticut College at home, 1-0. While they did not qualify for the NESCAC tournament, 2021 will go down as one of the better seasons in recent history for the Cardinals. Wesleyan finished with seven total wins, the most in a single-season since 2012. Their three conference wins are the most the program has seen since 2013. Wesleyan finishes the year at 7-8 (3-7 NESCAC), finishing ninth in the conference. The improvement shown this year gives hope for an even better encore in 2022 for the Cardinals.
