MIDDLETOWN, CT- Men's basketball dominates the Herb Kenny Tournament, defeating their opponents by an average of 43 points on way to winning the championship Sunday afternoon. They beat WPI by 24 in front of their home crowd in Silloway Gymnasium. Another dominate team performance saw five Cardinals in double figures. They were led in scoring by All-Tournament Team member

Jordan James '22 added 10 points, six rebounds and six blocks to win tournament MVP.
The win gives the Cardinals their second straight in-season tournament championship, and their 5
th straight win overall to start the year. The loss is the first of the year for the Engineers of WPI, dropping to 4-1 on the young season. In other tournament action, Mitchell defeated Pratt Institute 90-75 to take third place. Mikey Buscetto led the way for the Mariners with 28 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

Wesleyan used a big run to start the second half that separated them from the Engineers. The 12-0 run to start the second 20 minutes extended the Cardinals'' lead to 22. Wesleyan has dominated every matchup so far this season, as they have won by an average of over 30 points through five games.
Jordan James takes home the tournament MVP with a dominate game on both ends of the court. He went for an efficient 10 points (4-5 FG) while also doing his best Dikembe Mutombo impression on the other end with six blocks in only 22 minutes of game action.
Preston Maccoux led the way in points with 16, to go along with his six rebounds and three assists. Three other Cardinals were in double figures as well.

th straight game with 13 points and four rebounds
The Cardinals shot 49.2% from the field, nailing nine of their 23 attempts from beyond the arc. They were also efficient from the line, hitting 13-16 of their free throws. The defense was once again stellar, forcing 14 turnovers, 10 blocks, and 10 steals.
The Cardinals will go on the road to face Drew University on November 28
th at 2 pm.
