MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women's swimming and diving team closed out the fall semester with its final meet of the calendar year. Competing against two of the nation's top programs, Wesleyan was defeated by No. 6 Williams 265-52 and No. 9 Tufts 271-47.
 
HIGHLIGHTS:

• Jasmine Luu '25 was the fastest Cardinal in the 50 fly, landing a Top 10 finish with her time of 27.21 seconds which was good enough for 10^th place out of 28
• Lydia Brutvan '25 led Wesleyan in the 50 back with a time of 29.54 seconds
• Mengmeng Gibbs '23 placed ninth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.89
• Talia Lanckton '22 led the Cardinals in the 1-meter diving with a score of 172.65 and the 3-meter dive with a score of 168.65
• Victoria Carroll '24 posted a time of 2:13.95 in the 200 back to place ninth overall and first on the team
• Delaney Hopkins '25 showed well in the 200 breast with a time of 2:31.12 that was good enough for 10^th place
• Wesleyan's fastest 200 free relay group landed in seventh place overall with a time of 1:41.17 as Gibbs, Megan Bauerle '24, Izzy Pennington '24 and Heddy Parker '23 combined for the finish
